The Podkovan brewery lies in the protected natural region of the Czech Republic named Kokorin Valley which lies at the foot of Mount Bezdez.  The origins of Podkovan Lager date to 1434 when monks first started brewing the beer using the very same recipe.  The tradition of brewing this premium lager has persisted to this day because of the use of only the finest Czech hops and malts combined with the country's pure and natural spring water.  Award winning Podkovan Lager has stood the test of time and remains today as one of the finest examples of this authentic Czech beer style.

Podkovan Lager (4.7% alc/vol) and Podkovan Dark (3.8% alc/vol) are both available in standard 20 x 16.9 oz. bottle cases.
