What Our Customers Say

Excellent company for loading

They have a reliable warehouse worker who loads the trucks quickly and efficiently. The only challenge is finding the right way to get there if it’s your first time — I even drew a map showing the route that large trucks can use without any problems.

Great celebrations

The beer was excellent, and the atmosphere and entertainment made the whole experience even better.

Excellent beer

It’s expected to be on tap in the future, which I’m really looking forward to as a cyclist. This time I also tried the lemonade — and it was great as well.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Podkováň stands out for its unique 300-meter underground spring, officially classified as baby water — one of the purest sources in the Czech Republic. Combined with open fermentation and slow, natural maturation over 40 days, this gives our beers a distinctive, authentic taste.

Open fermentation is a traditional Czech technique where beer ferments in open vats rather than closed tanks. This method allows natural processes to develop fully, giving Podkováň beers a more complex aroma, balanced flavor, and authentic character that modern closed systems cannot replicate.

While we remain faithful to brewing traditions established in 1434, since 2023 the brewery has invested heavily in modern technologies. This ensures consistent quality, efficient packaging solutions (cans, kegs, petainers), and the ability to meet both local and international market demands.

Our chief brewer, Mr. Červený, has more than 25 years of experience in the Czech brewing industry. He personally oversees every stage of production — from selecting raw materials to final quality checks — while also developing new recipes and brewing innovations to meet evolving tastes.
